thank you to over 11,000 of you who read this weekly and share with your friends and family for behind the scenes on building a million a 5 million dollar business from scratch and beyond.
i also include a personal note in the end so i am grateful that you let me do that without judgement.
Sam Knight wrote a post about my interaction with him from 10 years ago and here’s his video here on LinkedIn…
below are the three take ways verbatim from his post that i think is on point and i needed to hear it myself again.
”1. CREATE THE FUTURE: at Terminus, we weren't just joining a market but creating one. Account-based marketing was barely a concept when we started, but the team had the audacity to believe it would become essential. We went all-in, even hosting "Flip My Funnel" events. Looking back, it's clear: sometimes you have to make the future you want to see.
2. ENERGY IS YOUR MOST VALUABLE CURRENCY: Sangram's infectious enthusiasm was a daily masterclass in leadership.
He burst into the office, quoted Gary V., and radiates passion, regardless of the challenges we face.
This lesson has been my lifeline through multiple near-bankruptcies in my own entrepreneurial journey (which always worked out, by the way).
3. VISION WITHOUT EXECUTION IS JUST A DAYDREAM: Ideas are common, but bringing them to life is what separates dreamers from doers.
At Terminus, I learned that having a vision is only the beginning. The real work lies in ruthless, daily execution—pushing through setbacks when it feels like you can't take another step. Creating something new is never easy, but it's always worth it.”
in summary, i think what Sam is saying is that God has given us the ability to create the future, bring the energy and have a vision to put things into existence and anyone can do it.
i thank Sam for reminding of what we did 10 years ago and what we can do again.
on a personal note, i got to share my testimony with the supporters of RTS Missions in Tampa led by my friend and a fearless leader - Gregg Shepard.
i also shared for the first time very clearly on LinkedIn who (not what) gives me hope.
you can watch it here and i got a lot of messages thanking me for sharing my faith so openly.
the interesting thing is if you try to live out your faith and then share it, most people are okay with it, and even happy for you.
if you don’t live out your faith and just talk about it, then it’s harder for people to accept you as an authentic person.
i am trying at home and outside to live the same.
i fail most days at home and at work but i am certain that everyone around me knows that i am bringing the energy and giving my best.
and at the end of the day, that is all we can do.
leader point: your energy is your currency to growth at work and in life.
