thank you to over 11,000 of you who tune in weekly and share this with your friends and family. it means the world to me to have you along for the ride as we build a zero-to-10-million-dollar business (we recently crossed $6m) and beyond.
i also love adding a personal note at the end of these, and i’m so grateful for the space you give me to do that without judgment.
for most CEOs and business leaders i’ve been talking to lately, three themes keep popping up:
good to great
go slow to go fast
avoid the certainty trap, pursue clarity
at first glance, these all sound like wise, even obvious choices—but they’re incredibly hard to live out.
for GTM Partners, here’s what that’s looked like for us:
good to great
making money has never been the issue (thank God).
making it scalable and repeatable? that’s the mountain we’re climbing in 2025.
go slow to go fast
for the last two months, we intentionally held back on net-new big customer acquisition.
we focused instead on building, refining, and delivering.
laying the foundation—so we can run faster later.
certainty to clarity
for the past 4 years, i’ve been obsessed with certainty.
it helped us stay profitable, but we lost clarity in the process.
2025 is different. we know what we want to do—and now we’re figuring out how to get there.
i wish we had this focus last year.
but God’s timing > mine, so i trust it.
on a personal note—yesterday, my son took my wife to dinner.
i took my daughter out too.
we needed that.
life has a way of sweeping you into motion—between work, practices, and everything in between. we had been missing moments like that.
so in 2025, in my relationships, i want to:
go from good to great (more intentional time, better quality)
go slow in my walk with God so i can go fast in my love for family
release expectations rooted in certainty, and live with clarity grounded in our mission: Vajre’s make it through all challenges by God’s love, grace, and truth.
i need to trust His promises now more than ever.
time is flying. way too fast.
i want to hang on a little longer… take a breath… and just watch more.
leader point: in business and in life— good and certainty are traps, great and clarity are where the breakthrough lives.
Such a lovely post Sangram. The whole time I was reading it I was thinking about a path. And I thought of a metaphor - finding, forming and founding 😊
In the beginning (finding )you work to even find a path - it feels a little wild and chaotic. But your vision and faith anchor you. You move into the wilderness with it.
In stage two (!) - (forming) you are working to figure out the right spot to cut open the path. You get out the machete and start to cut down the over growth, the noise- you move boulders - push away obstacles- build make shift bridges. It’s straining - it’s hard work but all doable. And you finally see a path forming that takes you from point a to b. And by taking part in forming the path you know it well.
- in the third stage (founding) is now taking the path and making it a real functional road. Its structure is stable and you can reliably walk it to get where you want to go. It delivers you to a predictable place.
From your post you are now making the road !
Haha. Good morning 😃. Now I need my 2nd coffee.
