so last week we officially launched GTM Partners - a data-driven Analyst firm for Go-To-Market and secured close to 15 customers in the last 30 days.
next week, i will share how we created demand instead of simply harvesting it.
for this week, as we did the following, this thought came to mind:
secured 15 deals
early release of the “Comprehensive Guide to Go-To-Market”
Partnered with G2 to truly become data-driven with their 2 million+ insights data
announcing the 3 city roadshow in Seattle, Boston, and SF in Oct/Nov with Product Marketing Community, Peak, and Women in Revenue
one could say, that’s a heck of a lot.
on the other side, the goal is not to rest and say arrived.
but rather, reflect, celebrate, take a moment of appreciation and get back in the ring.
companies are made up of people just like you and me.
but great companies that consistently grow have leaders with the mindset of growth.
on a personal note:
i am in Alabama with my family for my son’s tennis tournament.
it’s level 4 and he hit a new level in his tennis practice.
here’s our conversation from a few days ago:
Krish: Papa, i think i am ready for the tournament.
me: how do you know?
Krish: i did a few things that seem to work.
me: so what are they? (p.s. you always have to dig to get to the real answer in work and in life)
Krish: i did these 3 things and it improved my game and here they are:
Don’t be lazy
Play high-performance tennis
Believe in yourself
me: Boom!!! so, how are you going to remember it?
Krish: i am going to put it on my camper so when i get to drink water, i would read it.
me: that’s brilliant.
well, that sums up the entrepreneurship lessons of all times, doesn’t it?
to me, he has already won if he keeps this attitude in life.
the tournament is just an excuse for us to see him grow.
and of course, the most important part of all in this is praying and thanking God for the opportunity!
i think if i can learn what he figured out at 12, i could be a better father, husband, leader, team player, and person.
i have so much more to learn.
what do you think?
leaderpoint: have a growth mindset and not a goal mindset.
Great weekend read and great progress on every front 👏 👍 👌
