as we all look at the last quarter of the year, to ace our goal of $1M in revenue as a team, we have a choice on how we think.
not for just this year, but also for the next.
i wonder sometimes if we are building
a company. a bigger company than the last one?
a team. a big team?
what we don’t want to trap ourselves in this: growth at all cost company.
we don’t want to do what others did and consider that as the only way.
we want to chart our own path - a path to efficient growth.
where our goals are not arbitrary double-double triple-triple goals that some SaaS companies have and they flame out.
our goal is growth - efficient growth.
that means we look at this year and next year as how are going to serve our customers BETTER.
if the company gets bigger along the way, that’s fine.
but that’s not the priority.
the priority is to grow be BETTER.
to keep getting BETTER.
as individuals, team, a business and community.
on a personal note:
as work from home has become a norm, i have lost the date nights we used to do before.
getting ready and making the significant other feel special.
the daily walks or lunch at home is good but what is even BETTER is an intentional dinner plan together.
so i am going back to basics to find intentional time with my wife every month beyond the grateful time i get to spend since i work from home.
i am curious how you are navigating this time and making it BETTER.
leaderpoint: Bigger may never mean better but better will always create a path to something bigger.
