week 35: Believing in something is better than believing in everything
what matters most to you?
thank you to over 10,000 of you who read this weekly and share with your friends and family.
so, today is Christmas.
as most of you know that I believe in Jesus so as a Christian, Christmas is a big deal in our household.
so i am going off-script today and just share what my two kids wrote on my white board and make it all personal.
now before you read this, just know that I do believe that as parents the best thing we can do is share with our kids why we believe, what we believe.
but when our kids teach you something, that’s special.
so get ready.
let me transcribe it for you as it might be hard to read :)
Poem from Krish - my 12 year old.
Papa,
Merry Christmas and a happy new year
Keep God in the front and we will be your rear
As Christmas is dawning, let our heart be near
For Jesus is born, there is nothing left to fear
He was born to die for every one of our tears
Let our minds be united, our vision crystal clear
Our Savior is born, our redemption is here!
Note from Kiara - 8 years old
Papa,
I love you more than anything. Christmas is near, Rejoice, for the Savior is Born!!
so there you have it!
Merry Christmas to everyone for this day is special.
Leaderpoint: Always know why you believe, what you believe.
love,
Sangram
I appreciated reading the notes from your kids, but also found the bottom section quite profound.
Love it!
