Sangram - thanks, as always, for sharing your experience at such a personal level. I can't help but wonder if the previous success, although achieved at great cost, was a major contributor to the success of your second act? Said another way, would you be able to do what you've done with GTM Partners, in terms of experience, platform and financial flexibility, if you hadn't lived through Terminus? It's a question without an answer, because we can't A/B test life!
I am in the season of life when my children are beginning their own life as adults. Much of the advice they receive is, "if I had to do it over again," which is often provided by people (like me) who have the extreme luxury of not living paycheck to paycheck. My hope for them is that they start their journey with their sites focused firmly on God's Kingdom and that they use their gifts for His glory and purpose. My hope for me is that I listen to my own advice :-) 🙏
the hard lessons has made me stronger and helped me look at things objectively.
the cost was great indeed and if i had to do over those years, i would ask for more wisdom from God to navigate.
it was my pride and my win at all cost mentality that let me down and i think that is completely avoidable.
i can't go back and change things but i can start again and thanks to God that I am able to document a new account and do it better (but never perfect).
Wish you a very happy new year Sangram! Many congratulations on achieving this milestone. Becoming Intentional is a great newsletter with no fluffs rather just a personal note. Thanks for sharing.
Happy new year! Great progress! I was remembering the Forest Gump quote "Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get". We need to just have the right values and priorities and then things are not as hard! To a great 2023......
Congratulations Sangram on achieving the million dollar milestone. The first million is the toughest. I look forward to reading your ten go-to-market principles.
I’ve been watching this year. You are an inspiration for sure. What I most liked about your chart was the lower half that demonstrated you can win in business and at home. God bless, my friend.
no surprise at all Sangram and I love the breakout on the line below ;) -- amen!
thank you Amy - look forward to chatting tomorrow.
